DAMAC Lagoons plans to recreate the visual elements of eight Mediterranean cities/countries, including Venice, southern France, and Morocco. Villas and townhouses will be spread around aquatic lagoons with “white sand beaches”.
A Unique Concept
Damac is inspired by Eight Mediterranean cities.
The Santorini cluster will be the “central hub” of the community. Future residents of this “island” will have their own fitness and wellness area, equipped with a climbing wall. They can also watch a movie under the stars in the floating cinema on the water.
From Venice to life. In this cluster dubbed the “Fun Hub”, romantic gondola rides and waterside cafes tastefully exemplify the Venetian way of life.
The Morocco pole will reflect the old town of Tangier and will be the “center of tranquility” of the community. There will be lagoon-facing infinity pools, meditation lawns for yoga, family cabanas, and other escapes.
The Costa Brava pole represents the “wild coast” of the Mediterranean. This “adrenaline center” will try to recreate the “thrilling atmosphere” of Catalonia with its zip line, rock climbing, kayaking, paddle surfing, and wave activities.
In the Nice pole, the “youth pole” will be aimed at fitness enthusiasts with cycle paths and a skate park, while the beach area will be reminiscent of the city on the Côte d’Azur.
In the “historic capital” of Malta ‘s pole, children have access to the “play and learning centre”, which includes a sensory plaza, a discovery maze, a camping island and an augmented reality nature trail (AR ).
The Andalusia has a “women’s center” where women can access a fully equipped gym, spa, beauty salon, and meditation lounge, all just steps from the beach.
The Lagoons then head to the “Ligurian jewel” of Portofino. This is where the “work and leisure center” will be located. Residents can host business lunches at the waterfront cafe or organize team-building events, among other things, then go kayaking, sailing, or paddle surfing to unwind.
